Abstract

The present work presents a bibliographic review on drug addiction associated with themes about parenting, bonds, secrets, inversion of family roles and responsibilities, and also illustrates, through a clinical case, the concern, suffering and despair of adolescent children with relation to the chemical dependency of their parents.
