Abstract

The main interest of this article is related to the narratives research of sexual offenders within the family, under systemic  psychotherapy optical. Publications dealing with the sexual offenders, commonly report they were also victims of sexual violence in childhood. This study aims to verify any possible stories of violence in the selected group. The survey was conducted with ten men serving time in the Monte Líbano Prison in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, ES, accused of sexually abusing children and teenagers in their families. In many cases, results show that violence was present not necessarily reported as sexual, but also considering its psychological, physical and moral aspects.
