Coparenting consists of the way in which the father and mother share responsibilities and support each other in the roles of authority. It is a dynamic process aimed at ensuring the well-being of children. The present work is a case study of a family in the process of separation. We sought to understand the current panorama of love relationships due to the increase in the number of divorces around the world. Parenting was differentiated from coparenting and the challenges and possibilities of building coparenting were investigated according to Feinberg's four fundamental components, from a systemic perspective. The results suggest the construction of coparenting as a path to a good divorce, ensuring the children's belonging to the family, despite the new configuration.
